Questions, answered.
Short answers about the calls, the money, the testing, and the rules.
Getting started
Who it is for and how it begins.
How do I get started?
Book a phone call. Setup happens in your dashboard. You go live once you approve your script, connect Stripe, and make a test call. Our team also reviews the script before it goes live.
Who is Scouq for?
B2B service businesses that sell over booked calls: agencies, consultants, software companies, and professional services firms. It is not for regulated advice such as insurance, securities, lending, or real estate brokerage.
How is this different from hiring a rep?
Scouq calls every lead at the minute they booked, studies every transcript, and tests your script, offers, and upsells, with your approval on every change. It takes payment on the call, and there is no hiring or training.
How many new clients do you take?
About 10 a month, because each setup is built around one business's offer, script, and payments.
The calls
When Scouq calls, and what it says.
When does Scouq call a lead?
At the exact minute the lead booked. If a lead presses Talk now on your booking page, it calls right away.
Does Scouq answer inbound calls?
No. Scouq calls leads who booked or pressed Talk now. It does not answer calls that people make to a number.
What if the lead does not pick up?
It tries once more a few minutes later, then emails the lead to offer a new time. A call that reaches voicemail is not dialed again.
Does the lead know it is an AI?
Yes. Every call opens by saying so, and by saying the call is recorded and that the lead can ask it to stop.
Can it invent prices or promises?
No. It sells only from the script, prices, and offers you approve. It never invents a price, a discount, or a guarantee, and it brings in your team when needed.
Can I hear the calls?
Yes. Your dashboard has the recording and the transcript of every call. Recordings are kept for 90 days.
Control and testing
What you approve, and how changes are tested.
Can I control what it says?
Yes. It sells only from the script, prices, and offers you approve, and nothing goes live until you say so.
What does Scouq test?
Your script, opening line, offers, upsells, payment plans, and voice, one change at a time. You approve a test before it starts.
How does Scouq pick a winner?
By profit per lead. Every version needs at least 30 leads, and one has to be clearly ahead. Until then the test keeps collecting, and you approve the winner before it goes live.
What if I do not like a winner?
Keep things as they are. Nothing changes on your live calls unless you approve it.
Payments and sales
Where the money goes, and how you hear about a sale.
Where does the money go?
Straight to your own Stripe account. Scouq takes no cut of your sales.
Does Scouq see card numbers?
No. The lead pays on a Stripe page. The agent never asks for a card number, a password, or a code on the call.
Can it take a deposit or a payment plan?
Yes, if you allow them on the offer. Scouq can offer a card, a bank payment, or an invoice, with deposits and plans.
How do I hear about a sale?
By email or by a signed webhook. Most CRMs and automation tools can take a webhook, and a direct connection can be built on request.
Consent and security
How leads agree to be called, and how we keep it safe.
How does a lead agree to be called?
The consent wording sits next to the booking button, and pressing the button counts as agreeing. Where a page uses a tick box, the box must be ticked. Scouq saves the exact wording, the time, and the details of the booking.
What if someone says stop?
The call ends, and that number and email go on the business's do-not-call list. The list is checked before every call.
What hours does it call?
Only when calling is allowed where the lead is: not before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. in their local time, and tighter where a state requires it.
Is my data kept separate?
Yes. Each business's data is kept apart. Transcripts are erased after two years. The Security page has the details, and you can write to hello@scouq.com.
