How Scouq keeps your customers safe.

Consent, recording, calling hours, payments, and data, in plain words.

What we commit to

  • Consent on record

A lead books only after agreeing to the call and the recording. We save the exact words, the time, and the details, and the record cannot be edited.

    The details
  • Stop means stop

Say stop on the call, or press the button in the email, and the calls end for good. The list is checked before every dial.

    The details
  • Your Stripe, your money

Leads pay on a Stripe page, into your own Stripe account. Scouq never sees a card number, and takes no cut.

    The details

Every call says who is calling.

Each call opens with the same plain facts.

  • Who is callingThe agent gives its name and the business it is calling for.
  • That it is an AIIt says it is an AI assistant, and it never lets the lead believe it is a person.
  • That the call is recordedIt says so up front, says the recording is shared with the business’s service providers, and tells the lead they can ask it to stop at any time.
Example start of a call transcript in the Scouq dashboard: the agent says it is Morgan, Meridian Consulting Group's AI assistant, that the call is recorded and shared with service providers, and that the lead can tell it to stop calling at any time
Example compliance card for a call in the Scouq dashboard: business named, recording notice given, AI disclosed, asked to stop calling no, denied being AI no, passed quality check

Calls go out in legal hours.

A call is placed only when calling is allowed where the lead is.

8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

No calls before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. in the lead's local time.

  • Stricter state rulesWhere a state sets tighter hours, we follow them. We check the state the lead gave and the state of their phone number.
  • A daily limitNo more than three calls to one number in 24 hours.
  • No pile-upsA call nobody answers gets one retry. A call that reaches voicemail is not dialed again.

Stop means stop.

Anyone can end the calls, at any time.

  • On the callSay stop. The agent ends the call and adds the number and email to that business's do-not-call list right away.
  • From the booking emailEvery confirmation has a Stop all calls button. It also cancels any call still booked.
  • By emailWrite to hello@scouq.com and we add the number by hand.
  • Checked every timeThe list is checked when someone books, before every dial, and before every follow-up email.

Payments go to your Stripe.

Card details never pass through Scouq.

  • Stripe's page, not oursThe lead enters card or bank details on a Stripe page. Scouq never sees or stores them.
  • Never by voiceThe agent never asks for a card number, a password, or a one-time code on the call. If a lead starts reading numbers out, it stops them and points to the link.
  • Your accountPayments are made on your own Stripe account, so your customers pay you.
